The main reason for houseplant mortality is improper watering, primarily due to overwatering, but also from inadequate watering. This pack contains 10 distributors and 2 meters (6.5 feet) of 3mm drip tubing. The Blumat 10 Distributor Drippers with 3mm Tubing for Drip Irrigation provide an effective solution for irrigating all types of plants on balconies, patios, greenhouses, and raised beds. Two nozzles allow you to connect tubing on both sides of the dripper, enabling up to five drip locations from a single Tropf-Blumat (dripper chain). The end-distributor dripper has a drip nozzle on one side only, serving as the end piece in a dripper chain.

The black screw on the distributors does not typically require adjustment, unless a distribution dripper is observed to be releasing less water. In such cases, simply loosen the black screw by one turn. For optimal performance, unscrew the screw completely and clean the distributors once a year.

These distribution drippers can be used to extend the length of watering throughout your setup, making them suitable for raised garden beds, balconies, greenhouses, and other areas. They are also effective in irrigating containers and pots, as each Tropf-Blumat can control up to five of these distribution drippers, saturating a 40-inch length, either in a row or around a large plant.

The setup is quick and easy, requiring only a pair of scissors to quickly install and adjust the system. The package includes 8 inline drippers, 2 end-of-the-line drippers, and 6.5 feet of 3mm tubing.

In a pressure system using up to five drippers per sensor, no further adjustment is needed. However, in a low-pressure, gravity-fed system, or when using more than five drippers, the top screw can be loosened to ensure even water distribution.
