The Blumat Small Box Kit is an Automatic Drip Irrigation System designed to water up to 6 plants. Tropf-Blumat Sensors, featuring a small adjustable brown knob on top, are suitable for use in greenhouses, grow rooms, decks, and outdoor gardens. With this system, you can take a vacation and let the Blumat Watering System take care of watering your plants.

Tropf Blumat soil-moisture sensors (referred to as "carrots") regulate water flow throughout the system based on customizable moisture levels in your beds, pots, or soil. You won't have to worry about over or under-watering your plants, even while you're away.

The medium-sized kit is designed to water areas up to 3.5 square meters or 12 potted plants. It includes everything needed to create an electricity-free, gravity-fed watering system. Blumat systems can adjust to any plant type or desired moisture level.

The water is released slowly and in doses, ensuring plants receive tempered water for healthy, lush growth. This specific kit comes with 5-inch carrots, which are better suited for smaller potted plants (up to 10 gallons). For larger plants (10+ gallon pots), 9-inch carrots or Maxis are recommended to deliver water deeper into the soil.

Here's a step-by-step overview of how a Tropf Blumat works:

1. A valve within the Blumat reacts to the sub-pressure created by dry soil, causing it to pull downwards and allow water to slowly drip.
2. When the soil reaches the desired moisture level, the sub-pressure in the sensor sucks the water back into the cone, and the valve returns to its original position, closing off the water flow.
3. This process allows for the slow, customized delivery of water, enabling each plant to determine its own irrigation schedule.
